On Ferry from Southern Spain to Canary Islands

I am on the eastern edge of the Atlantic Ocean and near the west end of the Mediterranean Sea, separated by the Strait of Gibraltar.
I have been to the Mediterranean 6 times via these countries and each time was amazing:
1. Egypt (Alexandria).
2. Greece (day trip boat ride to 3 small islands via Athens).
3. Malta (the whole country is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea).
4. Italy (Sicily)
5. France (Cannes)
6. Monaco (Monte Carlo)

The Canary Islands are in the Atlantic Ocean, west of Morocco and the continent of Africa. They are so small, they’re hardly noticeable on a world map. But 2.2 million people live there. I have never been this far west of this region. I like going to places that are tiny blips on the map. Though once you get there you realize it’s not as small as you thought it was.

At the time of this writing, I will be there in 12 hours.
